The Blog of Seven Okelli
Until just a few days ago, I was very busy at work and home. Wasn't in Second Life hardly at all. It wasn't a bad thing: I like my life. I have a good real life. Just lately I've been busy.
Yesterday I read through one of the AO scripts, line by line, making sure I got every detail. There is still is one thing I don't get, but I can try leaving those two lines out tonight or tomorrow to see what difference it makes.
Earlier this week I spent some time AGAIN looking through the available blog software, and didn't find any that was close enough to what I wanted... so I started writing my own.
PHP is a pretty simple programming language, and it's easy to do a little every day.
I still need to set up the Archive page, the RSS feed, a traffic counter, and comments. But I'm pretty sure I know how I'll do it.
A tiny bit of family life:
Me: Want some chocolate?
Six (eyes it suspiciously): What's it got in it?
Me: Raisins and hazelnuts.
Six (shudders): Ugh! Who would put raisins in chocolate? That's disgusting! What's wrong with people?
[three minutes of silence]
Six: Can I have some of that chocolate?
